Project name: UCC as core of Web 2.0
Back ground: We know it’s the era of Web 2.0. In general, it means not only technical differences than those of before, but also differences in human behavior and desire. There are so many arguments about what Web 2.0 is. The key of the arguments is that some call it as something new in terms of business model and technologies and others call it as just marketing theme. But it’s clear that things related with Web 2.0 is dominating the other world anyway. Even we don’t know about Web 2.0, Cyworld and NHN Search act like Web 2.0 in nature. It was enabled by UCC (User Created Contents) and PCC (Pro-summer Created Contents). So thru out this group work, we are going to make investigation on the relationship between UC and Web 2.0 and future potential coming from UCC and PCC.
Methodology
- Benchmark: we are going to learn about key successful services in Web 2.0 world such as www.google.com, www.youtube.com, www.facebook.com, www.secondlife.com, www.wikipedia.com, etc
- Find differences with one similar services before and estimate what help them to continue to success
